Couture for a Cause 2025 transformed the Village of Yorkville Park into a massive open-air fashion spectacle on July 30, 2025, featuring a record-breaking 2,000-foot runway that snaked through the heart of Cumberland Street. Founded by Daniel Fiorio to mark his 50th year in the hair industry, the event is organized by the Hairdressers for Love and Peace Foundation in partnership with CAMH. The 2025 mission set an ambitious goal to raise $100,000 to build and operate a permanent, volunteer-run hair salon directly within the CAMH facility. This specific "clause" is rooted in the belief that grooming and self-care are fundamental to restoring dignity and joy during mental health recovery. The showcase featured 60 models and top Canadian designers, including David Dixon, Narces, and Adam X Atelier, successfully bridging the gap between Yorkville’s luxury retail culture and a deep philanthropic commitment to community well-being.
