THREADS 2025 took flight in April 2025, serving as the high-energy capstone event for the graduating class of George Brown College’s School of Fashion and Jewellery. This year’s theme, "METAMORPHOSIS," signaled a bold style revolution, empowering students to create the profound transformations they wish to see in an ever-changing world. The showcase acted as a symbolic emergence, representing graduates as they transition from the protective silk of their academic cocoons to unveil the luminous wings of industry innovators. Produced through the transdisciplinary Live Events Supercourse, the event merged cutting-edge runway presentations with a multidisciplinary exhibition, highlighting a new era of fashion that prioritizes vision and creative evolution. Since its founding, THREADS has bridged the gap between student ingenuity and the Toronto fashion scene, launching the next generation of designers onto the global stage.
