Mass Exodus 2025: Blended – Identity, Connection, and Expression

Mass Exodus 2025: Blended celebrated the 36th anniversary of Toronto Metropolitan University’s School of Fashion, serving as a powerful end-of-year showcase for its graduating class. This year’s theme, "Blended," offered a creative journey where fashion intersected with the deep exploration of identity, connection, and expression. The event was comprised of a multi-show runway experience and an extensive exhibition—highlighting work beyond the runway such as film, photography, digital fashion, and strategic business. Produced entirely by students from the transdisciplinary Live Event Supercourse, the showcase honored not just the final garments, but the emotional and intellectual process behind every project. Since its inception in 1989, Mass Exodus has remained a vital bridge between student innovation and Toronto’s fashion community, drawing thousands of viewers to witness the future of Canadian design. Here are selected photos captured from the event and a highlight video.
