Mass Exodus 2024 serves as the School of Fashion’s annual end-of-year production, celebrating the creativity and technical achievements of final-year students at Toronto Metropolitan University. For this landmark event, the 2024 theme "SLATE" was chosen to represent a pristine, durable canvas—a base devoid of excess that invites students to inscribe their own personal narratives and concepts upon it. The production, which consists of both a professional Exhibition and a Runway Show, highlights the diverse work of students across various concentrations, including Design, Communication, and Material and Textile Practices. Produced by the students of the Live Events Supercourse at The Creative School, Mass Exodus aims to merge emerging student perspectives with Toronto’s broader fashion community to help carve out future career paths.
